John "J.R." Moore

John “J.R.” Moore joined Fletcher Farley in December 2023, as Senior Trial Counsel.  Before joining the firm, he served as in-house counsel for Farmers Insurance for almost 9 years.  J.R. began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Denton County, Texas District Attorney’s Office before opening his own criminal defense practice.  J.R. focuses his practice on commercial transportation liability cases and has tried over 150 cases to juries across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

J.R. graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.  He completed his undergraduate degree at Concordia University Texas in Austin, Texas where he was a catcher for the varsity baseball team. 

A life-long Texan, J.R. lives in Lantana with his wife, Julie.  His daughter, Ava, attends Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  His son, Jackson, attends the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
