Michael Mills specializes in defense litigation, handling a broad spectrum of cases involving construction defect, premises liability, products liability, and transportation matters. Michael's background gives him a particular gift for counseling clients. After graduating from seminary in 1995, Michael spent more than a decade in active ministry, serving for much that time in Dallas, but also in northern England and coastal Alabama.
His time in the ministry led Michael to serve the community in a new way. After serving an inner city parish church, and interacting on a daily basis with the urban poor, he knew he wanted to do more than help people cope with the social and legal system from outside.
In 2006, Michael entered law school at the University of Alabama, where he was selected for membership in the Order of Barristers, a national honorary society that recognizes law students who have excelled in advocacy and service. Michael also served as the Ethics Opinions Editor for the Journal of the Legal Profession.
