Lane Farley has significant experience resolving a broad range of complex claims, including product liability, construction liability, toxic exposure, elevator accidents, wrongful death, commercial disputes and general negligence matters. He has represented local and national construction companies on matters including construction defect, contractual liability, personal injury, job site fatalities, owner controlled insurance programs, EIFS litigation, OSHA compliance and other general construction disputes. Lane has also represented product manufacturers and defended against all matters of product defect, advertising injury, CPSC enforcement, business interruption and personal injury claims.
Lane has tried numerous jury trials to successful conclusion in state and federal courts. He has been awarded an AV Peer Review Rating, the highest rating given by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He frequently teaches courses across the country on topics related to all matters of litigation and negotiation.
Representative Experience:
Lanham Act/advertising injuries - Defended national retailer of fuel supplement from competitor's allegations of advertising injury.
Semi-conductor process failure - Defended control systems supplier from allegations of failure at semi-conductor/water fabrication production facility.
Industrial paint removal machine failure - Defended manufacturer of industrial paint removal machine from allegations of defective design resulting in amputation.
Concrete pump truck electrical control system - Collapse of 42-meter concrete pump truck boom on high-rise construction project. Defended against allegations of defective electrical control system.
Water infiltration - Defended contractor in lawsuit brought by homeowners association with allegations of product defect and construction deficiencies for glass windows in high-rise luxury condominiums.
Flooding of subdivision - Defended property developer against adjoining subdivision's allegations of water code violations, trespass, and flooding.
Confined space double fatality - Defended underground utility contractor in case involving alleged violations of OSHA's rules for confined space entry.
